How to play?

Go is played on a board using black and white stones, all of the same shape and value. Initially the board is empty and the players (one playing with black stones and the other one with white stones) are alternately placing their pieces one by one on him. The pieces can not move again once set, and the game is to try both players occupy their stones as much as possible from the board. At the end of the game wins the one who has successfully occupied the largest territory.

It is a strategy game whose development, rather than a battle such as chess, could be compared to an entire war or the establishment of an empire. Its rules are so simple that a child can learn in no more than ten minutes as exact and essential unchanged even once in its five thousand years of history. What does this enigmatic as passionate game to have so many millions of people for many thousands of years?

Meanwhile the famous chess player Emanuel Lasker, comparing chess with Go, and claiming that chess was perhaps the most complex game created by the human mind, said: "Chess is confined to the inhabitants of the earth, but the Go, somehow, than this dimension. If rational beings on another planet, certainly know the Go". And he understands the fascination exerted on the Go Lasker because this game is also ancient, beyond the bare simplicity of its rules and its inexorable logic, one of the more subtle moral reflection systems that men have invented.
